Any application for a domain .HN , should be completed by filling out a registration form provided in the site: http://www.nic.hn. The RDS-HN is not responsible for damages that cause the unavailability of the information required to settle any dispute concerning the right of a domain name.
1. POLICY DOMAIN NAMES
Ownership, authority, responsibility and management of a domain name of second or third level under the .HN will always rest on the Registrant's domain name.
Any holder of a domain can keep the same second or third level domain name, under the .HN regardless of changes in internet service provider.
The RDS-HN is not responsible for intellectual or industrial property rights violations by registering a domain name. The RDS-HN is exempt from any liability that the parties in conflict seek from the services provided.
The services provided by the RDS-HN should be subject to the policies and laws issued by the National Telecommunications Commission, CONATEL. Thus prohibiting any management, routing and two-way communications and international voice in real time ending with the country, the contravention of this legislation causes criminal and civil liability under Honduran law.
The fact of enabling a domain name of second or third level under the ccTLD.HN does not confer any right of ownership over it, any conflict that is based on the use thereof, shall be resolved between the parties using the dispute resolutions of domain names .HN accordance with the Regulations of the Public Policy Dispute Resolution or the Supplemental Rules of the provider administering the proceedings, as given on its website http://www.nic.hn
According to the principles contained in the document Internet RFC 1591, the arbitration will take place at the home jurisdiction and the registration, the language used in the arbitration proceedings will be the Spanish language, unless the parties decide otherwise, and subject to the conditions laid down in the registration agreement.
In the event of conflicts for the establishment of a domain name registration .HN, the RDS-HN will not have any role or responsibility to provide the contact information that appears in the database of the ccTLD.HN order to settle the conflict, either through conciliation, arbitration or court.
The Red de Desarrollo Sostenible – Honduras (RDS-HN) shall under no circumstances be responsible for the violation of intellectual or industrial property rights, or any other rights or legitimate interests, which may result from the empowerment of domain names of DNS of second or third level under the ccTLD.HN, nor is it responsible for the Technical Coordination and Management of other employees working in the ccTLD.HN / RDS.
